Using our clients’ assets and taking their creative brief (script, storyboard, etc.), you will work with our team to create stunning and enticing cutscenes and trailers for AAA games. You will start by blocking out scenes, recording or bringing in mocap and then iterating your way through to the final, polished cutscene layout. We are putting a strong focus on storytelling while keeping our clients’ objectives for each cutscene in mind.
Responsibilities:
- Help drive the development of high-quality cinematics/cutscenes
- Collaborate with a team of artists to create high-quality video sequences in given timelines
- Design and create shots from scripts and/or storyboards, using cinematic know-how and language to tell a story
- Block out rough sequences which will later receive animation of characters, props and cameras
- Contribute creative solutions to convey emotions and strengthen scenes. Use real-life camera behavior to enhance the camera’s role in story telling
- Identify technical needs and issues to enhance tools and pipelines
- Support documentation of processes and best practices

- Experience using Motion Capture to tell a story and a good understanding of animation timing

Junior Mocap Artist
Job Description
Using our client’s assets and keeping their project goals in mind, you will pro-actively help our team to bring characters and entire scenes to life. You will work on data post-processing first, and then join us on the capture stage to record everything from character locomotion to full-performance capture or even fully developed scenes including multiple actors and custom-built environment recreations and props.
Responsibilities:
- Create motion captured animation content for a variety of clients and projects, ranging from indie projects up to AAA games
- Clean-Up and post-production of captured animations, using our custom workflows
- Capture actor performances on our mocap stage
- Maintain and improve our capture system and software tools / workflows
- Work closely with our team to create high-quality animations on tight timelines

Job Description
Work directly in the Unreal Engine or customized versions of it to create stunning cutscenes and trailers for AA/AAA games. We are putting a strong focus on storytelling while keeping our clients’ objectives for each cutscene in mind. You will integrate cutscene content coming from 3rd party software.
Assist art, animation, and lighting teams (internal and client) with technical knowledge and support the process through to the final, polished cutscene.

Technical Animator

metricminds create game cinematics for awesome studios. Our pipeline is based on Motionbuilder for maximum flexibility. We are looking for a Technical Animator to oversee the technical processes and improve how we work.
Can you supervise and properly handle bringing animated content (characters, face, cameras and other objects) from Motionbuilder/Maya into the Unreal Engine (Sequencer) and possibly also export them back as an animation workflow step?
Do you possess good inter-personal and communication skills and do you have an ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team?
