The studio was founded in 2001 by Philip Weiss, who remains CEO of the company to this day. metricminds joined the THQ Nordic family in 2022.
The initial goal was to enable creative teams to benefit from motion capture without distractions.
The focus has always been on delivering high-quality, all-encompassing services, taking care of the technical aspects, as well as planning and logistics, so you can focus on your creative vision.
Over time, the services portfolio evolved and our team grew. First we added animation and motion editing services and then we grew into storytelling, leveraging the ample talents and passion of our team.
Combining all of our strengths, we were one of the first studios world-wide to offer in-engine cinematics as a service to game developers.
