Into the Stars is an open-world Space Survival Simulation built in Unreal Engine 4, developed by Fugitive Games and published by Iceberg Interactive.
metricminds produced the official launch trailer for the game in a period of 3 months.
Fugitive Games provided us with a mood-board, the game assets and in-game footage, from which we developed a concept for the trailer.
The production included:
- Creation of a modular set piece for an interior sequence (modeling, texturing, decals, material setup in Unreal Engine)
- Modification of existing assets according to the concept and visuals
- Creation of custom Particle FX (in-engine: GPU Sprites, Mesh-based PFX, multi-layer rendered simulation in Maya according to camera and then transferred to Unreal Engine)
- Motion Capture
- Lighting of the whole scene in engine
- Multi-pass rendering, editing, and postproduction
