For Risen 2, metricminds were in charge of completing all the in-game animations. We did skinning for 15+ characters, captured all of the bipedal in-game animations and blend poses at our own studio, plus motion editing for 500+ files.
We set up our facial animation booth for the procedural facial animation based on 3D scans of facial expressions. We used these scans for the animation. Along with the animations we rigged and skinned the human characters while observing the maximum compatibility of the animations between groups.
